EMDR Treatment of Grief and Mourning

As a Certified Thanatologist studying death, dying, and bereavement, I have been blessed to assist patients heal from a departed loved one. Coping with this loss can be quite complex.

One training on my personal horizon is an upcoming training by Roger Solomon. I have attached his article that intersects the processes of EMDR with the Treatment of Grief and Mourning from 2018.  This is such a great framework to explore how Therese Rando and Roger Solomon came up with this awesome interweave of both subjects I am so passionate about: EMDR and  Grief. I’m excited for this training, and I’m looking forward to exploring Solomon’s  ideology with regard to grieving and how we can intersect with EMDR.
